Coleraine the area hit hardest by jobs blows

IN response to John O'Connell's letter (Write Back, August 22), when it comes to loss of jobs and discrimination, the Coleraine area would win hands down.

The New University of Ulster was set up in 1965, but since then Belfast has taken chunks of it and Magee College claimed other bits.

The Portrush Catering College was also moved to Belfast.

The latest blow is the removal of DVA jobs. We watch new jobs coming to the province and they either go to Londonderry or Belfast. So don't talk to us about discrimination please.
