Commission seems to select who it supports
Truly, the Ashers Baking Company case demonstrates that the law, as represented by the Equality Commission, is still capable of being an ass.
If we refer to contract law, it specifies that one party makes an offer to another party, which may be declined or accepted. As is his right, Daniel McArthur refused to accept. 'Hurt feelings' aside, no harm was done to either party.
Dr Michael Wardlow states his commission supports people with or without faith. So why did the commission not support Daniel McArthur? Dr Wardlow compounds his confused thinking by then suggesting that one person's right is greater than another's.
For standing up for his Christian rights, Daniel McArthur is to be admired and supported and congratulated by all fair-minded people on this island.
