Commissioner has tough job

The First and deputy First Minister have announced the appointment of Kathryn Stone as the new Victims Commissioner. She’ll be replacing the previous three Victims Commissioners later this month.

OFMDFM has said she will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the job, yet it has failed to tell us how this will impact on the lives of victims and survivors. The outgoing Victims Commissioners failed victims and survivors at every level. Will the incoming Victims Commissioner do any better? Watch this space.
