Conflict resolution is essential

During the build-up to this Westminster election, the TUV has been playing a game of easy politics.

They offer voters a favourable option of not having to deal with awkward aspects of our communities' problems by saying they can get rid of Sinn Fein from government.

This is a very dangerous stance to take, because our peace process is only starting and an effortless way to ruin that peace would be to alienate and insult 40%-plus of the voting public.

TUV has said they would not pull any triggers or set off any bombs, but words and actions of influential people can easily lead others to react in ways that can spiral out of control.

There are a number of extremely capable members of the TUV, but I'm afraid that they have no idea of how to deal with conflict resolution.
