Constitutional reform needed
Jeremy Paxman's comments on Belfast (News, Dec 3) highlights disenchantment in England with the UK set-up. The English see their money being poured into regions of the kingdom and are asking: 'What's in the UK for us?'
The UK is in decline and if it is not to disintegrate acrimoniously it must be reformed constitutionality and changed from the UK to the Confederal Kingdom (CK). This would leave Northern Ireland in a happy situation because the reforms necessary could be initiated here in a new central opposition party at Stormont, taking as its platform the reform of the kingdom's constitution to the Confederal Kingdom (CK).
