Covenant show poorly planned

Published 26/01/2012

You would think that, this being Ulster Covenant centenary year, an exhibition at Belfast City Hall would already have been announced. We are into the last week in January and there is still no information about a Covenant exhibition, or the appointment of an exhibition director to oversee arrangements.

There has been much talk about an exhibition, but no details. Planning should be completed.

Do the organisers (if they exist) know if the Ulster Museum and the Public Records Office will lend their Covenant-related objects to the exhibition? Do they have a list of objects in the public domain that are available for the exhibition? We need answers now.
