Creationism is to be respected

Published 14/06/2010

I strongly support the comments made recently by Nelson McCausland concerning the Ulster Museum and its lack of respect for the creationist view held by many people in this country.

We are told we are living in a new era of equality and mutual respect. If this is the case, why has the public not been given the scientific evidence for the Christian position according to the Bible and display it in our museum?

It must be recognised and displayed that God created the universe and everything in it rather than mankind being a product of a long evolutionary process.

People must have the opportunity and equality to consider for themselves this position.
