Dark days ahead for Dodds and co

Published 15/12/2015

The truth behind Nigel Dodds' DUP leadership withdrawal is one of political self-preservation.

Nigel and other senior DUP figures know the anger against them within the Protestant-unionist-loyalist community due to their continual sharing of power with republicans who are controlled by the IRA's so-called "army council".

Nigel and the DUP hierarchy know that the DUP are going to suffer heavy losses at the forthcoming Assembly elections.

The day is coming when the corruption of the Belfast Agreement, which placed terrorists at the very heart of the government of Northern Ireland, is coming to an end. Roll on that day. Roll on the Assembly elections.

NORMAN BOYD (FORMER MLA)

Newtownabbey, Co Antrim
