Derry needs cut in profits tax" >

The Belfast Telegraph has to be congratulated on its campaign for a lower corporation tax.

We need to be proactive in both our thinking and our actions in order to bring our country up to full strength.

Every week we hear stories of jobs lost in the North West so it would make good sense that, if we are to get a reduction in corporation tax, it should first take effect in the Derry area in an effort redress the jobs inbalance.

It is important to try and attract jobs and investment to one of the most deprived areas of Europe.
