I am writing in reply to Irwin Armstrong (Write Back, April 25), the chairperson of the Northern Ireland Conservatives, a party that does very little except write letters to newspapers.
When Mr Armstrong and his small group of friends have done as much work on the ground helping constituents as the Alliance Party have done over the past 42 years, then perhaps the public would start treating his party with more respect.
Last year, the public voted for Alliance in record numbers, because of our vision for a shared future and the work we had done in our communities.
I really do find it sad that the only thing that the Northern Ireland Conservatives are offering the public is these types of negative letters.
