Dog's assessment can be much more humane

Published 25/07/2016

Surely Belfast City Council could assess Hank the dog by appointment (News, July 21). Just like a dentist or doctor.

My GP does not confine me away from my family for weeks for an assessment. He allows me home with my family and if he needs further tests, he sends me an appointment to see him. Dog-lovers everywhere would gladly look after Hank, who has no previous record of bad behaviour, without causing trauma and stress by isolating Hank from love and affection.

Try to be human. Give the dog back to the owners, where Hank is happy (which, I am sure, the concerned "whistleblower" is not).
