Dysfunctional UUP dances to Tory tune

It was once said that the UUP was the natural party of government.

Nowadays it isn't even functioning as a political party in the conventional sense. Instead, we have witnessed the UUP tearing itself apart and reduced to bickering, sniping and acrimony.

On the important issues that matter to people - jobs, roads, budgets, etc - the UUP takes its orders from the Tory party that has shown it cares little for the needs of the people of Northern Ireland.

Divided, silent on the issues that matter and taking their orders from the Tories: that is what the Ulster Unionist Party stands for.

Given those circumstances, it is no surprise that people are leaving the UUP in their droves.
