It is a pity Albert Einstein is not around today. He would be intrigued and, I hope, delighted at how the sciences he championed changed the world for the better.
Einstein was possibly the greatest ever mind, laying the foundation for much of the extraordinary progress achieved by science.
He also left us many quotes of wisdom. "The only thing that interferes with my intelligence is my education" could certainly apply to the experts whose remedies for environmental salvation only drive us deeper into the mire.
He also declared "two things are infinite; the universe and human stupidity". I don't know about the universe, but stupidity proves itself every day.
