Elephant 'cub'? That's new to me

That was a lovely photo of the mother and baby elephant (Picture of the Day, November 10).

What a shame that whoever wrote the caption called the baby a "cub" instead of a "calf".

A soldier was murdered by two suspected Islamists yesterday who attempted to behead and disembowel him as he left a barracks, in the first deadly attack in Britain since the 2005 London bombings.
