Empty bus lanes symbol of failure

Anyone who attempted to drive around Belfast during Christmas will have been frustrated at having to sit in queues of traffic like obedient schoolchildren while gazing at empty bus lanes.

In Liverpool they abandoned the bus corridors. Belfast should now follow this example, due to the fact that Government departments have failed to address the need for an improved road traffic scheme in and around the city centre. Ban the bus lanes.
