Environment is being sacrificed to noise plan

It is not just schools that will be affected by the proposed increase in noise levels at George Best Belfast City Airport.

Up to 24,450 residents will suffer increased noise above the government's ‘serious annoyance' yardstick if the latest planning bid gets approval. And this is according to the airport itself.

Is there no end to the City Airport's attempts to have a full-blown international airport at the expense of our environment?
