Equality quango can expect our full opposition

Published 26/05/2015

If I owned a bakery and someone walked in and said to me "bake me a cake that says: 'Jesus Christ is not God', I would immediately show them the door and face that person's opprobrium, legal proceedings, even go to jail, if necessary, and face bankruptcy - in defence of the truth of Our Lord's divinity, even if someone else who didn't know "any better" took the order.

The so-called Equality Commission is an agenda-led quango and it has lost the confidence of sincere people in this ideologically-driven decision against Ashers bakery. It can now expect the opposition of every Christian faithful to the Gospel. We will oppose it at every turn.
