Executive must switch its focus from Belfast

I hope that Alex Attwood is holding his head in shame and will do the honourable thing and resign after costing this country 1,500 jobs and £150m in investment (News, February 1).

He has openly said he will put Belfast first. Surely he is a minister in the Northern Ireland Executive, not the Belfast Executive? There has to be an end to this Belfast-centric Executive.

Will the objectors to this development now replace the 1,500 jobs in the Lisburn area?

This has only shown the greed and selfishness of certain businesspeople, particularly in the Belfast and Craigavon areas.

The Belfast Telegraph has backed Belfast over the last eight weeks with its campaign.

Perhaps you could now support a new campaign to back the other cities, towns and villages suffering just as much as Belfast.
