Flag swap no big deal, let's forget it

Published 08/06/2015

I happened to be walking up to Stormont last Wednesday when I noticed that the Irish tricolour and another flag were flying over the building.

Although, at first, I thought perhaps there was a state visit, I wondered why the national flag was also not flying.

I took a couple of photos and noticed, at the same time, that the sky had become dark and grey.

I did what I usually do: I sat on a bench and I said a prayer.

When I finished praying, I looked up and the flags were gone and the sky was a beautiful shade of blue.

I thought about what to do with these photos and decided to delete them and forget about the whole thing and not let it spoil my day.

I suggest everyone who hears this story should do as I did.
