Foster's critics should bear in mind Kingsmills
Much negative comment has been made by nationalist politicians about Arlene Foster declining to join 1916 commemorations.
Much media coverage and analysis has been offered on the subject - a lot of it counselling engagement with our shared history. The Belfast Telegraph has published several readers' letters in similar vein.
Of course, Kingsmills victims were only innocent workmen, who, unlike those involved in the Dublin rising, were not on the streets shooting and bombing, but just going home from work.
How many Sinn Fein representatives were present at Sunday's memorial service for the Kingsmills victims, to acknowledge our shared history?
None are mentioned in reports as attending, or visible in any photos I've seen.
No surprise to anyone and, sadly, no reporter, or commentator, even thought it rated a mention.
