JUST like Dr Buckingham (Write Back, November 6), who wrote about his experience after ordering white poppies from the Stop the War Coalition, I, too, sensed a presence breathing down my neck.
I didn't actually complete the purchase (of one poppy) before the phone rang from Lloyds fraud investigations.
At the time, I thought this a coincidence, as I have had fraudulent charges on a debit card.
But now? Very creepy and infuriating.
