So, Kevin Myers thinks that we are in living an age where political correctness has gone mad because we allow Stephen Fry onto our television screens because he is gay?

How sad that he feels he should waste his time writing such a poorly argued diatribe, but even sadder that the Belfast Telegraph should be paying him for an article which encourages prejudice.

Such rants against tolerance and equality may have a place in the letters column, but not as a half page article in a 21st century newspaper in a Northern Ireland trying to build consensus and unity.
