GAA's deal with Sky a wrong call
THE recent decision by the GAA to enter into a contract agreement with Sky Broadcasting is a wrong call.
There were several options open to the GAA to bring our games to a greater audience. In fact, most Irish people abroad have a number of options available to them to view our games.
This is going to deny many genuine fans at home the opportunity to see up to 14 matches this season. It also leaves many questions for the future of RTE, which has a long tradition with the association.
