Gavin needs to take a look at his own salary
It appears strange of Gavin Boyd to complain about teachers' salaries when he is on such a large one - up to £164,000.
This appears to compare favourably with many equivalent CEOs in England, who only get £84,000.
Both are greater than any teacher's pay.
His comments about the difference between teachers here and England is also misleading, as we have more, older teachers, which skews the figure.
As the education budget is under pressure, perhaps Mr Boyd might make a gesture and take a pay-cut?
I think I might have to wait a long time for that.
