Gerry Kelly still flying flag for hypocrisy

Published 25/01/2013

Thanks to the Belfast Telegraph publishing an article by Tom Brady about dissident activity (News, January 22) we now know that the repeated demands from Sinn Fein's Gerry Kelly that unionist politicians face down the flag protesters is another example of their hypocrisy.

The Garda in the Republic have revealed that Provisional IRA members, thought to have 'gone away', are now training the dissident IRA in waging a new terror campaign in Northern Ireland.

Instead of stirring up discord over the Union flag, it is now time that Sinn Fein faced up to their responsibilities. Kelly and his cabal need to face down their terrorist comrades, bring them to heel and stop lecturing others.

It is unlikely the the Union flag would have harmed a soul.
