The controversy rages about sham marriages and it is unlikely we will ever know how many of these convenience ceremonies actually take place across the UK.
Given that a number are discovered to be fraud and a deception, why are these marriages not declared null and void and the participants prosecuted?
Only when the participants in these sham marriages find it is not beneficial will the process stop.
