Get tough with Israelis

I expect the latest incident in the 'Long War' between Israel and the Palestinians will be used by both sides and their supporters to push forward their own particular agenda.

But it can't go on like this.

Israel has attacked and invaded all her neighbours at one time or another and keeps the Palestinians, whether they be on the West Bank or Gaza, almost in a state of imprisonment. Yet they seem to get away with it.

Hamas, on the other hand, are the only terrorists I can think of who, when they achieved power, instead of becoming all presidential, continue to look and act like terrorists.

I am not sure what pressure can be put on the Palestinians, but surely the West cannot tolerate the Israeli's flaunting of international laws forever.

I think it's time to get tough.
