Halloween cakes not very Christian

Published 04/02/2016

I refer to the extensive coverage of the Ashers "same-sex cake" row, which is being appealed in court this week.

I defend the right, and agree with the McArthurs, to decline the cake request on the grounds it conflicts with their beliefs. The lady who took the order said she "knew when she took the order that Ashers could not supply the cake". The call the next day was a clear breach of contract when the order was not honoured.

I find it very alarming Ashers have shown no conscience in supplying Halloween cakes bearing gruesome and satanic images. I understand that they have now discontinued supplying such after it was highlighted.

Halloween is a demon-inspired, devil-glorifying occult festival and Christians should have nothing to do with it.
