It is an irritating fact that the BBC (both national and local) seems unable to distinguish between the launch and sailing of Titanic.
In the approach to the anniversary of the tragedy, Mark Simpson and the London studio declare that it is 100 years since the launch of Titanic. It is not.
Titanic was launched 101 years ago - on May 31, 1911.
