Horse cruelty is not acceptable

Well done for bringing the horrific plight of injured horses to the public's attention.

This shows the legislation on animal abuse and dog control is not working. Unfortunately it takes a case like this to bring the facts to the fore.

The wonderful lady who tried to get help for the horses had to wait five hours for it to arrive after being directed to various people. That is not acceptable.

I wish to express thanks to her and to the vet who answered her pleas for help to aid the injured horses.
