Hospital workers shame Stormont

I have just spent 10 days in the Ulster Hospital. I met many people in various jobs necessary to the functioning of the hospital.

What struck me was their understanding of being part of a bigger team. They all seemed to share the same objectives, and my treatment was exemplary.

What a contrast to Stormont. There, too many MLAs seem to rush to the cameras to say why they can't work together.

If I could, I would reduce by half the money we spend on the Assembly, and divide the rest between the Ulster and our other fine hospitals. We might get better value for the money that way.
