How can I bin the students?

I am losing count of the times I’ve had to right and refill my blue bin after it has been knocked over by the aspiring academics of Belfast eager to demonstrate the principle of gravity.

Because refuse collections where I live are somewhat variable, I prefer to set the bin out at night, usually about 11pm — about the time that these simple souls set out from their halls of residence in droves, ready and willing to swell the profits of pubs.

Between 1.30am and 2am they return, with all the fervour of Don Quixote tilting at windmills, railing up the road, attacking every offensive bin in sight and laughing hysterically.
