I read with interest the news that a party of delegates are jetting off on another fact-finding jolly - this time to Cuba (News, September 21).
As Cuba is not even in the EU and does not publish its research in peer-reviewed medical journals, I wonder what relevance this perceived vital knowledge will be to healthcare professionals in Northern Ireland? At a cost of some £6,000-a-head, I would expect a comprehensive audit report justifying the trip.
