I can only praise hospital staff who treated me

I KNOW the health service is under severe criticism at present. However, in my opinion, you must speak as you find out for yourself.

I have nothing but praise and admiration for the medical, plus other, staff in Belfast City Hospital. In February, I spent 10 days in Ward 2 North and have since been attending Oncology for treatment.

The staff are so understanding, dedicated, compassionate and make you feel you are the only one who is ill.

It is not their fault that they are overworked and understaffed, so would the public please blame the people responsible for taking the decisions that are putting the health service in the state it is in.

I repeat: I have nothing but praise for all the staff who are looking after me.
