Ian Paisley's left behind a legacy of bigotry

Published 06/03/2010

A MAN whose chief political contribution to the province was purely negative and destructive is now bowing out, overtaken by old age.

His legacies are numerous illustrations of the power of intransigent bigotry and the DUP - a party now devoid of any raison d'etre.

Worse, he has left the abiding impression in GB and beyond that he is representative of the Protestants of Northern Ireland.
