Ice cream row in perspective

NOW that the dust seems to have settled over the incident when a complaint was made against a police officer for eating an ice cream while driving in Bushmills, perhaps I could leave a little thought with all those voicing their opinions on the matter.

On July 26 two family circles had their own reasons to remember the date. For 28 years ago they lost members belonging to the RUC, murdered in Co Down on a hot day while eating ice cream. How times have changed.
