I'll stand behind the Tele editorial

After reading your article 'Belfast flag violence: Today we all vote for the Alliance Party.' I'm not ashamed to say I cried. It is one of the best pieces of journalism I have read in a long time.

As a good Catholic boy (religion doesn't play a part in my life any more) I visited Ireland and Northern Ireland many times as a child and have continued to do so as an adult. I have come to love your country and its people.

One day I hope to see an end to the hatred and violence.

I know that it will come and, in the mean time, I wish you all the very best of luck.
