Irreplaceable radio host was voice of reason

Published 04/07/2011

I, LIKE many others, am sad and numbed to learn of the death of that great luminary of radio and TV broadcasting, David Dunseith.

Since my boyhood days, when he presented UTV Reports, and later as the voice of calm, reason and impartiality on Radio Ulster's Talkback, I have been a fan of the old master of broadcasting.

David injected life into a frequently stagnant society by his gifted dexterity and professionalism. An irreplaceable giant.
