Is a flag more objectionable than terrorism?

Published 26/06/2014

NATIONALISTS believe that loyalists put up Union flags solely to cause maximum offence, while the countless victims of IRA terror believe that nationalists consciously vote murderers, gunmen and bombers into public office solely to rub salt in their wounds.

Nationalists use the media and activists to influence Haass and lobby for legislation to remove flags. All the while, IRA victims are retraumatised every time they see either the killers of loved-ones, or godfathers of terror, whom nationalists have voted for, lording it over them.
