Is corporation tax just a sop to Sinn Fein?

The debate on corporation tax raises some simple issues:

1. How much corporation tax has been paid by Northern Ireland companies in the financial years ending April 2008, April 2009 and April 2010?

2. If a reduction was given, would the difference be reinvested by the companies?

3. If we follow the southern example who is to say we won`t end up in the same mess?

4. Why doesn't our Assembly demand that Europe bring the south into line with everyone else? Or is this another capitulation to Sinn Fein?
