It's time for the sun to set on the EU's empire

Published 12/04/2016

THE sun, it is said, never set on the British Empire, such was its size - all without the EU.

For the 21st year in succession, the books have not been signed off due to unexplained expenditure. The most recent figures show an unexplained deficit of more than five billion euro.

Of course, we taxpayers have just got to feed this unexplained black hole year after year.

This, of course, with a commission that not one vote was cast for by any European citizen.

Not to mention Mr Juncker's fleet of jet planes and two chauffeur-driven cars. Time this infection-ridden boil was burst.
