John Lewis and a policy debacle

I read with interest your coverage over the John Lewis debacle. Writing as a lawyer who works in public administration, I am astonished how it was allowed to get to this point.

The fact that Mr Attwood was allowed to make his announcement on changing policy before anyone asked whether he was allowed to do it is most unfortunate.

Did nobody think to discuss it in the company of the Attorney General beforehand ?

Multi-faith invitation to service

A service dedicated to Drummer Rigby will take place at St Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Woolwich.
