Just a slip of a lad with rarely seen humility

A youth, a slip of a lad,

a ready smile, an engaging winsomeness,

a humility rarely seen,

a deep sincerity,

a feeling that you know him,

you want him to succeed.

The gait of an Irish thoroughbred,

entering the arena, head held high,

Aware of the cries, 'Rory, Rory'.

Yet deeply focused.

"I have my game plan,

I know how to play this course, when to accelerate, when to play safe,

I see it,

I have the pattern, I love this place.

I am stronger now, much much stronger,

Augusta is a fading memory.

I have it within me.

I can hold it together. I did."
