Keep Caroline as a memorial

Published 13/06/2012

Are we going to let HMS Caroline, this grand old lady, be towed away from dock in Belfast? Instead of spending money on fancy structures and celebrations, could we not honour the history of our shipbuilding industry in war and peacetime?

Many Irishmen, from north and south, served in the Royal Navy and Merchant Navy. Surely money, private and public, could be found to ensure this gem of naval history is retained in Belfast.
