Kelly should have admitted he was wrong

Published 08/11/2012

Last Friday, Mark Mallet of UTV had MLAs Gerry Kelly and Paul Givan on discussing the murder of the prison officer David Black.

Although initially Kelly was forthright in condemnation of the murder, he reverted to type when reminded by Mallet that he (Kelly) had himself shot a prison officer in the head during an escape from the Maze. This was a missed opportunity by a SF member to admit his actions were wrong. It would have perhaps, brought the current IRA to its senses. SF holds the key to defeating the current IRA, but it is not using it.
