Killyleagh stages memorial events

Published 01/08/2014

WITH reference to the letter by Rev S E Mourant about the First World War events (Belfast Telegraph, July 29), I'd like to let the public know about our cross-community Killyleagh war commemorations and Killyleagh 14-18 Lights Out event.

A Memories, Medals and Photos Day takes place in 2nd Presbyterian Church Hall tomorrow, 10am-6pm. At 2pm celebrated historian Philip Orr will talk on the Irish in the Great War.

On Sunday, the first of our War History Walking Trails takes place at 2.15pm and on Monday our main commemoration event is at St John's Parish Church (7pm).
