I was delighted to read in the Belfast Telegraph of the excellent results obtained by Year 12 pupils of Knockbreda High School in this year's GCSEs (News, August 30).
I speak as a parent who has had two children educated in the school. My daughter has just left Knockbreda with nine GCSEs and gained a place in a grammar school to study three A-Levels. My son is going into Year 11 and is doing equally well.
Knockbreda is still in a period of intervention; please give it a chance to continue to prove that it is going in the right direction.
