Know the signs of meningitis

I READ your article 'Meningitis warning for students' (News, September 17) with great interest. It precisely and concisely highlighted that students are particularly susceptible to the deadly disease as they start, or return to, studies and should learn the symptoms.

We recently launched our Adolescent Awareness campaign to highlight the symptoms, including a stiff neck, fever, vomiting and a dislike of bright lights.
