Leaked A-level pupils treated too leniently

Published 29/08/2016

I am astounded that the pupils from Our Lady's Grammar School in Newry, who were given access to only one leaked A-level sociology exam paper, set by AQA, questioned why they had to resit all three papers of the exam (News, August 24).

In my opinion, the sanction applied by the exam board was too lenient - they should not have been allowed to resit the exam this year.
