Learn lessons from London

Isn't it great these last two weeks, wall to wall sport on television channels you don't need a monthly subscription for.

I am enclosed in an Olympic bubble. But soon it will be back to the doom of local news, the hatred and bigotry, the political bickering and infighting of Northern Ireland.

Sport shows that it is possible for people to come together. Yet in Northern Ireland, many people continue to harbour ill feelings against someone of a different religious or political belief.

Time to grow up.
